ROBLOXian Humor and ROBLOXian Moderation

Well, a few days ago I got a Warning for making the ad to the right, but honestly the purpose of this post is to point out that the ad had been running for almost an entire day before the Moderators realized that it consisted of inappropriate humor. (I know that this will sound like a pathetic attempt to "change Roblox" like some forum idiots like to do, but I'll get to something interesting in a second) The thing is that I believe that firing the teen
voulenteers was a mistake. I mean, sure, some of them were corrupt and violent exploiters, but now you're losing money by having to pay some of the hired college morons who needed a quick buck. I'm not saying I support the forum idiots, but I'm saying they have somewhat of a point.
(Not the ones who were mad because they got banned.) Here's an example, mattchewy. According to his Twitter, he was banned for saying "Pee." Now this is just plain ridiculous. I know that Roblox is for kids between the ages of "4 and 124" but there should at least be a feature to restrict some games from younger users, so older ones can have a more lenient language policy. I get it that some younger douche bags will make a spam alt to get in, but that just creates more users, and in the longrun more publicity for Roblox because of their massive amount of users. But another thing I needed to point out is the growing maturity of ROBLOXian humor. I know LOLcats won't probably ever grow old due to the constant flow of college Interns who enjoy it, but if you occasionally take a look into Off Topic, you will know that some of the users are getting tired of Knock-Knocks and growing towards the more Daniel Tosh type of humor. So on a final note, I think that as users grow more mature some of the Moderators should too.
